One copper electroformed Ammonite Pressed Bismuth on a 20” antique copper chain.
Naturally occurring bismuth is found in small quantities throughout Earth's crust both as a pure metal and combined with other elements in various compounds. Bismuth is typically obtained as a by-product in refining lead, copper, tin, silver, and gold ores found in Bolivia, Peru, Japan, Mexico, and Canada.
During the solid conversion of Bismuth, an ancient ammonite was pressed into the metal to create the indentation of this fossil.
Ammonites are said to convert negative energy into a gently flowing positive spiral.
Pendants measure approximately 1.75” x 1.5”.
Size, shape, color and pattern may vary as no two impressions are the same.
